Once all the seats are filled, we will close down registration for the crawl.

Those of you who are arriving in Seattle early or staying on after the conference ends you are invited to a few open houses and get togethers in the Seattle area (see below). If you are interested in attending any, please RSVP to the individual hosts, not Yarn Market News. Hope to see you there!

Saturday, March 13 — Cascade Open House
4:00 – 7:00 p.m. –For early arrivals or anyone who will be in town on Saturday, be sure to stop by Cascade Yarns for an Open House. Cascade’s warehouse and office, conveniently located near the airport, will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. for tours, shopping and more. Cascade will be offering free shipping on any purchases made during your visit and light refreshments will be served.

Sunday, March 14 — Churchmouse Yarns & Tea Social
12:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. –If you arrive early and want a quintessential Seattle experience, join Churchmouse Yarns & Teas on Bainbridge Island, just a short ferry ride from the W Hotel! Walk from the hotel down to the ferry dock (5 blocks), sail across Puget Sound to Bainbridge Island (35 minutes, $6.90 round trip), then walk 3 blocks to Churchmouse Yarns & Teas. Socialize with other shop owners who make the trip over, admire beautiful Bainbridge Island and enjoy tea and treats at the store. Drop in anytime from
noon until you need to catch the ferry back to Seattle for the YMN opening cocktail party.

Tuesday, March 16 — Della Q’s Pampering Party
7:00 p.m. –Soak your tired feet! Della Q is hosting a post-Yarn Shop Crawl fete at Julep Nail Parlor, located near the W Hotel. Stop by and relax at the mini pampering stations and enjoy a glass of wine
and hors d'oeuvres with fellow retailers.

Wednesday, March 17 — Skacel Open House
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. –For those of you departing Seattle on Wednesday (or remaining in town for an extra day), be sure to stop by Skacel for a special post-Conference Open House! Located just minutes from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Skacel is a convenient last stop on your Seattle adventure. Skacel will be opening its doors from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. for facility tours, customer shopping, a Q&A session and more. All attendees will receive special goody bags; light refreshments will be provided. Skacel will offer transportation from the W Hotel to their headquarters, as well as from their headquarters to the airport.
